Dear Lynn

Update - Kojonup to Albany transmission line

Western Power would like to provide you with an update on the proposed transmission line project between Kojonup and Albany. The proposed transmission line has now been selected as a preliminary line route.

As you may be aware, after extensive community consultation, Western Power selected a two kilometre wide corridor for the proposed transmission line. A selection process followed to position a 60 metre wide line route within the approved corridor. Although a preliminary line route has now been selected, please note that it is still subject to change as the project progresses through the approval processes. A map of the line route is enclosed for your information.

Western Power is committed to keeping the community updated as we continue with the approvals process for the line route. The next step in this process will be the completion of spring flora and fauna surveys. The information gathered from these surveys will assist Western Power in determining the final line route.

Western Power appreciates the efforts of the Stakeholder Advisory Group throughout this process. If you have any questions or concerns relating to this notice, please contact Lyall Murphy on 08 9326 4744, mobile 0427 449 829 or via email on [email protected] power.com.au.

Western Power will continue to work with stakeholders throughout the duration of the works and ensure that they are kept well informed of all developments.

We thank you for your continued cooperation.

Yours sincerely,

Rudy Teh
